Welcome from the CIO
Welcome to the IT Department!
Greetings! Welcome to the online presence of ESU’s department of Information Technology. Whether you are a student, faculty, staff, or a member of our broader university community, these pages provide an online guide and access to many of Emporia State’s information technology resources.
The IT staff at ESU are here to serve you – to help you in your journey towards success as a student, a faculty member, or one of our many staff members that serves our university community. We realize that digital technologies are critical to the success of both students and our faculty, and we strive to provide a reliable, secure, and robust infrastructure to ensure that success. We continue to provide new technologies and new solutions – such as SkyLab and SkyPrint that allow you to work from (virtually) anywhere! Our move to the Canvas Learning Management System will provide new opportunities for student learning, especially with the enhanced support for mobile devices. The new and improved ESU Mobile App provides access to a directory, maps, news, grades, and account balances.
If you have needs or suggestions related to information technology, please do not hesitate to contact our office or me personally. Whether you are a student needing assistance with your mobile device, a faculty member seeking ideas and support to utilize technology in the classroom, or a staff member needing assistance with technology to support our students and faculty, the Information Technology team here at ESU is dedicated to working with you as a partner in your success and is excited to assist you.
